Selous Wilderness Camp is a luxury safari lodge located in the heart of the Selous Game Reserve in southern Tanzania. The camp offers a unique and immersive wilderness experience for guests, combining rustic elegance with exceptional wildlife encounters.

Accommodation at Selous Wilderness Camp is provided in spacious tents that blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings. Each tent is equipped with comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms, and private shaded verandas that offer stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. The camp maintains an intimate atmosphere with only ten tents available, ensuring a personalized and exclusive experience for guests. The camp offers a wide range of activities for guests to explore the Selous Game Reserve, which is one of the largest wildlife reserves in Africa. The Camp is a simple extension of the natural safari environment. With five tents for 2-3 people and 2 bigger family tents for 3-5 people. All tents are fully equipped with comfy beds, Solar electricity from 07:00 till 09:00 in the morning and 18:00 till 23:00 art night, a bathroom including outside shower and a terrace with stunning view of the river

Rates

Rates vary by season. High season is generally March, April and May plus October, November and Christmas/New Year.

Desert Nomad tents from 1,000 to 1,250 MAD.
Stargazing tents from 2,000 to 2,500 MAD.
Extra person 500 MAD.
Private dinner by candle light 500 MAD pp.
Private transfer by 4x4 from Marrakech 750 MAD (max. 4 people).

Rates indicated are for a twin/double tent, per night, and include breakfast but exclude a local 'Tax de Sejour' of 26 MAD per person per night. Request a quote for current best available rates, long stays and packages combining two or more Moroccan Hideaways properties.
